Description
As one of the largest EPS Fabricators in Florida, we can supply you with most types and densities of Expanded Polystyrene Foams and Geofoam.
EPS densities are calculated based on the weight of a cubic foot of material. Densities from .9 lb to 3 lbs per cubic feet. We have 1 lb recycled EPS foam, also called regrind EPS foam. The recycled foam is less expensive and preferred by those who are more eco-minded.
EPS Foam is molded in billets in a variety of sizes but 4′ x 8′ is the most common size with thicknesses from 42” up to 65” inches. You can special order blocks up to 16′ long.
Our full-size carver blocks of expanded polystyrene foam for artists to carve are usually 49” x 97” x 42”.
Sheets are most commonly available in 48” x 96” size with thicknesses from ¼” to 50”. Said all orders are cut to size, you can get a 3 1/4” sheet, for example. If you are doing insulation, for example, you can get sheets cut in 15 ¼” wide strips to fit between studs.
Regular Expanded Polystyrene is what most people think of when they are thinking of Styrofoam. EPS Foam is used for packaging, insulation, architecture, construction, carving, decorative trim, moldings, floatation and more.
Geofoam is a specially treated EPS Foam most used as fill material in the ground to reduce loads on underlying soil, provide structural support, and improve construction efficiency.
Volume is not a problem. We can cut one piece up to truckloads.
For those who have the capability of cutting their own EPS foam, IPS Foam is a distributor of full-size raw EPS foam billets.
Our prices are lower than Home Depot and Lowes and they no longer sell plain unfaced sheets.
Often, we have fall offs in stock that we can sell direct at discount prices. Inventory, of course, fluctuates so it is best to call first.
